Terms and Conditions for Your Stay

 

Guests of The Alberta Petite Hotel agree to the following terms and conditions at booking.


no cash

We do not accept cash payment, nor do we maintain any cash onsite. If a guest wishes to make a purchase in our gift store or from the in-room snack basket, the credit card on file will be charged.


damage

We know your intent is to treat the hotel property and furnishings with care. However, in the event that damage does happen to your room or other parts of the hotel, we reserve the right to charge guests as appropriate. As a guest, you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage, missing items or specialized cleaning resulting from your stay.


All photo shoots and filming are subject to advance approval by the owners, and may require a separate contract. At least seven days advance written notice is required prior to any personal or professional photo shoots. No closed-door filming is allowed. A liaison designated by The Alberta Petite Hotel will be assigned to monitor all photo shoots and filming. Please call us at 503-894-6098 for further details. Casual family or friend photos are exempted from this policy.

We want you to be reunited with your left-behind phone cords, pillows, etc. Any items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $10 to cover shipping and handling.

The Alberta Petite Hotel will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left behind other than as required under Oregon law. The Alberta Petite Hotel will not be liable for any indirect, consequential loss or pure economic loss (whether caused by the negligence of the hotel, its employees, contractor or agents or otherwise).

limitation of liability


The Alberta Petite Hotel accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

Force Majeure


These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any action or proceeding seeking to interpret or enforce any provision of these terms and conditions must be brought in Multnomah County Circuit Court of the State of Oregon or, subject to applicable jurisdictional requirements, in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and each of the parties consents to the jurisdiction of such courts (and of the appropriate appellate courts) in any such action or proceeding and waives any objection to such venue.
